With questions regarding kernel.framework or iokit.framework you might be better off with asking them at email@hidden (see http://lists.apple.com/mailman/listinfo/darwin-development). Those people there have a good understanding of the basic layers of Mac OS X/Darwin.

HI,
I have some problem..
I'd like knowing what do I add to my application for
working with firewire... kernel.framework or
iokit.framework? I have to explain my choose in a
document..
I have to send file .dv, via firewire, to a
videocamera... and so I have to add QuickTime.h for
working with digital video, but I don't understand
what particular framework..
Which is the effective different?
Thanks a lot.......
