Hi, I have OS X Server and I have been trying to access my Apache
folder. I'm sorry if this sounds stupid but I have looked in etc, usr,
what not, and not found THE apache folder. I need to have access to that
folder because I would like to activate the password for a site and in
order to do that one needs to create a file for passwords IN the apache
folder. If anyone knows where Apple put that folder please give me a buzz.
Another thing. I have an idea for a 3d algorithm. I really have NEVER
seen a real one. And not read any books on that topic. But I have taken
Vector Calculus and that is the most powerfull tool. I was going to do
it while I still had OS 9 ( in C++ ) but I had to switch to OS X fast,
so now I need to learn cocoa in order to experiment with it, but oh
well. I want to share this algorithm with you all, specially if you are
all ( I hope ) cocoa programmers. If anyone is interested in seeing my
algorithm, or in sharing one with the rest of us, please contact me, and
I will make up a site where I explain everything. ( Although OpenGL ,
and correct me if I am wrong, can draw some really nice figures...I do
not think it can be used in much more advanced graphics. ) I want to try
to make it work, and by the way if I program anything, it will be
opensource, and FREE. So far, I am just beginning to learn how to
program in cocoa. My disadvantage is that I come from a C background,
not an object oriented background. But i am getting it. I hope that I
can continue to share my ideas as they come. Thanks again. And remember
to contact me about the graphics algorithm.
Thanks to all for your time...take care.
Tony
