Memory Card insertion and NSWorkspace

  • Subject: Memory Card insertion and NSWorkspace

It seems that when a memory card is inserted into a memory card reader (USB)
that the notification center in NSWorkspace does not post the notification
that a card (or disk) was inserted.

Would this be because it does not have its own drivers and just using the
standard usb storage kext or is it a deficiency of the standard usb kext
that it does not post a notification if a card is inserted. I tried logging
a bug on radar web but told me I had no access to this page, so can some one
post it for me please,

Thanks,
Greg
