I read somewhere in Apple developer documentation that Apple does NOT want
developers to make a big deal out of the environment for which their
applications are written. I gather that Apple doesn't want to lead the
public to believe that one environment yields better applications than the
other.
From a business point of view, I can understand Apple's position. The best
thing for all of us is for Apple to prosper. So, as to development
environments, it ought to be "one for all, and all for one." The only
sticker should be "Built for Mac OS X." IMHO.
By the way, shouldn't this topic be over on Omni's MacOSX-talk list? I
foresee it lasting a long time. I suggest that replies move there (and I'll
cross-post to get the ball rolling).
