making things invisible

  • Subject: making things invisible

I've searched the web and skimmed and read most of the book and of course read the on-line docs and I can't find the answer to my problem.

I want to be able to hide and show a control under program control.

I know I can move them off screen but that seems so 80s.

I read up on NSView and NSControl and I don't see any Show/Hide SetVisible etc... How can I do this?

Thanks!
