For copying, the resource fork and creation date along with any data
about the file stored in .DS_Store.
For moving files, this is only lost if not on HFS/HFS+ (unless
NSWorkspace has been updated for it) along with maybe the creator
code and other stuff like that.
If it's going to destroy any data, whether you think it's important
or not, it's best to find another way to do it.
