Are Project Builder projects backwards compatible?

  • Subject: Are Project Builder projects backwards compatible?

I maintain a framework for which the source code is available, and I'm considering an upgrade to Jaguar soon - which will include an upgrade to Project Builder 2.0. Obviously, PB2 will open projects created with older versions - but is the opposite also true? That is, if I upgrade to PB2, and start distributing .pbproj bundles created with it, will developers who are using PB1 be able to use them?

If you listen to a UNIX shell, can you hear the C?
