But I AM sending from smtp.earthlink.net, just as I always have.
This looks like somebody is catching my messages to the mailing list and
remailing them through TZO Email System to somebody else. Since my messages
are getting through to the mailing list, the only harm is that I get one of
these return messages every time I post to the list.
What seems suspicious to me is that this started happening right after the
afternoon (yesterday? The day before?) when all of Apple's mailing lists
went dead for several hours. I wonder if somebody attacked the Apple mailing
lists, and this is a leftover from the cleanup.
