Open recent documents

Hi,

We have an multi-doc based application, but temporarily we only want to be able to open only 1 document at a time. Hence in case of "Open recent document" we want to close any open document before opening the recent document. NB We don't use an override of NSApplication.

Is there a way to overcome this one?
