Given all the books on Cocoa that the world needs (An advanced book?
A

I'm looking for a dead tree reference to the stuff in Core Services and
Core Foundation that is more current and complete than what is online.
I note even in Jaguar the man pages for Rez and DeRez still refer to
MPW shell variables. O'Reilly's "Leaning Carbon" might be that book
(it certainly is thick enough) but then again it might not. I got
burned on "Learning Cocoa" and I don't want to be fooled again. Is the
Carbon book well written? Does it cover stuff like programming for the
Component Manager or does it only address Application development?
