Cocoa's text system is not perfect, but it's a lot better than
anything else I've used; it's extremely flexible. And of course,
Douglas Davidson regularly goes above and beyond the call of duty to
answer esoteric questions on this list ;-)

So, how about posting your questions individually? I've always found
it difficult but not impossible to make my Cocoa apps behave like real
Mac apps, and I still think I'm saving time compared to writing them
in Carbon. Just lamenting that Cocoa isn't like the Mac isn't going to
help much.
