That must be another of those urban legends.

Otherwise, how comes the "scientifically and widely tested" GUI was *that*
bad? Windows not resizable by anything but one corner? Non-active windows non-workable (not even closeable)? Open/Save dialogues not resizable? Even,
system-wide modal not moveable dialogues? One-button mouse? Restart menu item without an alert? And, you'll love this one -- at those days the supposed testing was performed, keyboards without arrow keys!

Nope. Eithere there was no testing at all, or it was completely wrong. Either way, the argument is moot.
