Earlier this week I released BDRuleEngine 1.0.0 as Open Source. (And
then I released 1.0.1...) The response so far has been really
positive -- thanks!
Now I'd like to get some advice on where the Cocoa community would
like it to go. There's one obvious enhancement, and that's a result
cache in BDRuleContext. But what else would people find useful?
I'm particularly wondering what people would find useful in the form
of delegation and notifications. I think it might be useful in
BDRuleModel to post "will" and "did" notifications for adding rules
to and removing rules from a model (and corresponding delegate
methods, of course).
What else might developers find useful? Has anyone played with the
rule engine yet, or is it a little early for me to be asking these
questions? :)
