Well, that's your opinion. Looking at my web server stats, I believe there
are a lot of people who think differently.

Most of the time, archives use ready-made, open-source applications (that's
your case AFAIK). These applications are very well done but do not suit all
needs all the time. The archives I maintain are custom-made, this means I
coded everything (except the search engine) from the ground up so that it
would suit most users needs.

I started the project because Apple didn't have a searchable archive at that
time. Instead of keeping this application for me, I decided to share some of
my server resources and my time to maintain it. I believe in the open-source
community where we help each others.

Now, if you don't want cocoa.mamasam.com to archive your mailing-list
publicly, just let me know, give me one day or two and it's off. But I think
this won't make any good to any of us.
