So, is Cocoa Programming by Buck, Yacktman, and Anguish actually out?

Yes.

Has anyone received a copy?

Erik received his author copies today. Don and I have not as yet.

Is it any good?

I'll note here that it isn't in the vein of Cocoa Programming for Mac OS X. It is not a tutorial based book. It is targeted as an intermediate book, although should be useful to others (especially if you have programming experience already). But it doesn't hold your hand.

The publisher's site
claims it _was_ finally published on the 16th, but Amazon has not
shipped to me, and I've had the thing on order since last November!

I have no idea what the situation is with Amazon, they're still showing an odd availability. I hope they get it sorted out in the next day or two.

But it most certainly has shipped.
