I received my copy yesterday afternoon. I ordered it with overnight shipping from InformIT which is where you end up if you buy from the Sams (publisher) website. I'm tearing through it (up to page 264) and it is excellent. However, as Scott A. pointed out, it's not aimed at the complete newbie (which I'm very happy about).

I've been working with Cocoa for about a year now and have been through Learning Cocoa from O'Reilly (didn't really help), Cocoa Programming by Hillegass (great one to start with), Building Cocoa Applications from O'Reilly (haven't been through much of it) and this one. So far, this book is doing a fantastic job of filling in and connecting much of what I've learned over the past year spent with Apple's documentation. However, I'm also glad I spent that year before getting this book.

Scott, Erik, and Donald - Great Job! (5/5 stars without a doubt)

So, is Cocoa Programming by Buck, Yacktman, and Anguish actually out?
Has anyone received a copy? Is it any good?
The publisher's site claims it _was_ finally published on the 16th, but Amazon has not
shipped to me, and I've had the thing on order since last November!
