I just ran across a very odd behavior. I made some changes to me

how I can recover the last couple of hours worth of work? I have
spent a while searching the archive, but nothing suggested there has

Out of curiosity...
Are you using the keyed archiving nib format at all?
Is IB giving you any messages that say something like "an inconsistency
was found in the nib, please save the nib" when you open the nib?
