How to get your application 'out there'?

G'Day,
As you may have guessed from my recent frantic requests to this group
for help on several areas, I have recently released my first
application and update.
It is free and available via VersionTracker:
http://versiontracker.com/dyn/moreinfo/macosx/19092
But that is not the reason for this message!
I would like to make it available to everybody who might be interested
in it.
Can anybody help with suggestions as to ways, other than
VersionTracker, and spam, that I might use to advertise it?
