Browser question

  • Subject: Browser question

I would like to create an Interface Builder "Instances"-style NSBrowser (as in the one in the Instances tab), with a single "column" but many smaller, representative objects contained within. After a look at the developer documentation, the archives, the SimpleBrowser tutorial, and what few (only one or two, so far) sample projects that I've found on the internet, I'm still rather blank as to what I would need to do in order to this. Would I, for example, need an active, rather than a passive, delegate for this, and how would I interface everything? (SimpleBrowser, for example, seems to my perception more suited to file-system browsing.) Might anyone know of a resource I've missed?

Take care,
Andre
