Drawer still interactive after raising sheet

If I raise a sheet that is modal for the main window, the drawer (which
is a child window of the main window) is still interactive.
I use the sheet to display a progressbar that shows the number of
records that are imported.
I could create a application modal alert, but that doesn't seem fit. I
also do not want to close the drawer first before raising the sheet.
