Since we're already well off topic....

Does anyone else find point 1 to be offensive? I'm tired of this type of language either being directly used or insinuated via acronyms, and thrown around like it's saying "Hello".

To my ear, "WTF" is no more offensive than "darn" or "shoot". All three of them allude to real "bad words", but are 1 level removed. We all know what words are being insinuated via "darn" or "shoot", but for some reason no one seems to find those offensive. Now, had he actually spelled out the constituent words of that acronym, I too would have been offended--but he didn't.

Yes, OT, and much more than the original post, but it really hits a nerve.
