to work. More specifically, I fail at link time with the message that basically shared libraries are not supported in Mac OS X. Two questions:

Thanks very much, and I apologize for the OT nature of this post.

Since we're already well off topic....

Does anyone else find point 1 to be offensive? I'm tired of this type of language either being directly used or insinuated via acronyms, and thrown around like it's saying "Hello".

Yes, OT, and much more than the original post, but it really hits a nerve.

I, too, am offended by certain postings on this newsgroup: I believe that NOBODY should be able to post anything off-topic (not to mention offensive to anyone), especially in relation to "known" off-topic posts. Luckily, Apple will be enforcing this mandate using the forthcoming NSCensorship and NSBigBrother frameworks, for which all exiting app's must now be recompiled to include, enforcing pre- and post-processing of every byte of incoming and outgoing data, regardless of content or destination (of course, significant processing latencies are to be expected). I absolutely can't wait! For now, we'll just have to install the public NSTextAcronymPussification plug-in, available at no charge with your order of video products "sanitized for your protection" from http://www.pg13.com. Alternately, you can visit this site, for manual authentication to your required level of forum appropriateness:
