What's the best way to use addressbook entries across multiple machines? Ie: if I want to refer to a given addressbook entry on machine A and machine B by some unique identifier... is the Addressbook Unique ID portable from machine to machine? Or would it be better to just use the person's name and do a search on both machines for the entry? Or would it be better to store the whole vcard in my file for transportation back and forth (ick) Or would I have to force my users to use ldap? (Something I'd rather not do)

The Unique IDS are actually CFUUID's they are globally unique, but there is no guarantee that the same record on both machines will have the same uniqueId. (This will probably never happen, unless the database was copied from one machine to another)
