adding to login items & VISE

Hi all,
Recently I got some code from the list
(
http://cocoa.mamasam.com/COCOADEV/2003/02/2/57560.php) that showed how to
add an item to the login items list... I've modified it so that the path is
hard-coded, but, otherwise the code is intact.
It seems to work just fine when run from within the debugger or manually on
the command line, but when run from within a VISE Unix script action, it
seems to fail.
Has anyone encountered such a thing? I'm sending this off to VISE, too, of
course, but I'm not entirely sure it's a VISE-specific issue, which is why I
thought I'd ask here as well.
