I have a default button, an NSSplitView vertical, and a dual proc
machine. Snap, sort of. I decided that the button probably shouldn't

tracking the mouse and sending setNeedsDiplay:. Occasionally, the
application would crash in the heartbeat API of the default button
(which is done is a secondary thread).
