I think this is one of the rare cases where I can concede defeat :-)
Chris, what do you mean?
Also I would like to add that OpenGL is the coolest thing I have ever seen
on Macintosh. And the samples/tutorials at the two followings web sites
http://nehe.gamedev.net
http://zerobyzero.ca/~ktatters/index.html
are very well done. They really take you step by step into the OpenGL world.
In less than one day I was able to build in my Cocoa application, a cube
rotating with a mouse-touch, with mapping, transparences and lights.
My good! Never found a better tutorial than these! Such a complex matter
explained as "a + b + c". This is real simplicity.
MacOS X is said as "it adds the powerful of Unix to the *simplicity* of
Macintosh". This is valid only for the final users.
Apple should consider to add tutorials like these to its almost "mute"
documentation and sample code. Theory is fundamental, practice is
essential...
I love Mac, and Cocoa as well.
Best Regards
