I'm encountering an odd thing in Project Builder: when compiling one
particular project, Project Builder freezes (beach ball) and won't come back
without a force quit.
Even stranger, upon re-opening the project, it looks like it actually
finished building correctly - at least, trying to build again results in an
instant "Build Complete" and the target seems to run correctly.
But the next time I change something (or clean) and rebuild, PB freezes
again.
Strangely enough, I've tried the same thing on several other projects
(sample projects, a previous version of the project I'm having the problem
with, etc.), and it behaves just fine. It's just this one project it's
having trouble with.
I've trashed the Project Builder preference file. I've also tried deleting
and re-creating (copy/pasting) a couple of the .h and .m files I thought it
might be having specific problems with (I'm not sure it was related to
particular files; it was just an idea), but it's still doing the same thing.
Configuration:
PowerBook G4 15"/1GHz, 768MB RAM
MacOS X 10.2.6
Project Builder 2.1 (December 2002 Developer Tools)
Anyone seen anything like this? Any ideas on how to fix it? Thanks!
