Hi all,
I've recently (forcibly) inherited some odd NSTableView code which
(originally) was part of an FTP application...
The problem I'm trying to deal with is that it doesn't seem to correctly
redraw itself in the case of no records. (In the FTP sense, there would
never be such a case as there would always be the . and .. folders.)
Anyway... I've seen it sometimes repaint correctly and sometimes never
repaint at all until a new set of data is loaded.
The one thing that is consistent is that if I resize the window, everything
redraws **perfectly**!!
As you can imagine, this is quite frustrating... So... short of me posting
all of the code here (which I really can't, even if it were practical)... is
there anyone on this list who has either...
(a) seen this kind of behavior before and knows what I"m missing? or...
(b) can help me fake a resize event so that the window will kindly repaint
itself as I'd like?
I'll take either at this point as my head really hurts and I don't see an
answer in sight.
Thank you!! :)
Brad
