I haven't yet been able to confirm that.
You're probably thinking of Objective Development's Completion
Dictionary, which uses the Escape key to insert text after an entered
keyword. I recently found it, and find it very useful to speed up code
entry -- everything from simple things like typing "nss<esc>" to get
"NSString *", to inserting multi-line chunks of common code (e.g. save
panel code). It also supports placeholder fields, and symbol
expansion. I highly recommend it.
