Bashing apple engineers because they don't share some dopey authoritarian view of C language usage is WAY out of line.

There is way more useful information from reading john c. randolph's posts on this list than out of this inane ranting about a simple macro. and btw, i rarely use macros myself.

if people need to cling to some kind of "Coding Manifesto" that's fine. just don't bother the rest of us.

please take this lecture to the "i like dressing up in uniforms and ordering people around" mailing list


I'm not offering approval for you anyway, I'm cautioning the leagues of programmers on this list you have tainted with bad programming advice.
