The Cocoa docs aren't too bad, give or take a few holes...

Instead, try looking at the QuickTime docs and examples - that will give you a serious headache.

OSeriously, after following this list for about two years now, I agree with you, that the docs seem to be a seriousd problem for many people. Or is it that the readers of the docs are the actual problem? Ever so many questions asked on this list are completely unnecessary if the poster had just read the docs carefully! Maybe it really is due to better documentation architectures out there which I have never used that "spoil" people.
