Am I the only one who thinks that there should be a separate mailing list, cocoa-talk, to which we could farm off the kinds of long-running off-topic threads that we've been seeing here lately and which have been massively reducing the signal-to-noise ratio on cocoa-dev?

As others have pointed out, there is already a macosx-talk list that people may join to discuss Mac OS X hardware, software, solutions, etc. It's not completely off-topic, but it's a more appropriate list for some of these threads.
