Hey all!
I've been looking through the power management DDK and the example
code, but couldn't find what I'm looking for.... I thought you might be
able to give me a hand :)
So here goes:
I want my app to be able to turn my mac's display(s) off.
Now the PM DDK shows me how to do this, but the minimum time delay
seems to be one minute. Is there a way to do this in seconds increment?
So that when the user activates that feature, the display sleeps within
maybe 1-5 seconds?
And is there any way to do this without root privilege?
Obviously, I'm not looking at changing the users' system prefs when
doing this... And it would be nice if the display would come back on
when the mouse moves :D
(But worst case scenario, this could be done programatically I guess)
Thanks a bunch for your help!!
Cheers!
ML
