Seek professional help, immediately! You may think I'm over-reacting,
but it's best to address these kind of masochistic tendencies early,
before you do serious harm to yourself.
I'm continually surprised at how Mac users embrace platform dependent
code. I would have thought we would be the first to push for cross
platform and open programs.
Platform dependent? If this were carbon-dev, I'd understand - that's a
Mac-only API - but we're talking about Cocoa here. If you want to port
your Cocoa code to another UNIX platform, or even (if you must) to
Windows, go take a look at GNUStep. If your app depends on some part of
the API that hasn't yet been completed in GNUStep, don't just give up on
it and use Qt - step up and contribute!
