I'm not thinking about it at all. I'd rather write the best
applications on the best platform using the best framework available
in the shortest possible time. That's a winning economic argument to
me, *and* it means I don't have to deal with crap like C++.
This is exactly my own thoughts. Practicality occasionally forces
principle to bend a little, but I try to remain pure. :)
I just wish Apple would, too. A lot of their stuff, once you get
underneath the ObjC wrapper (if they've even got one; lots of newer
API's are coming out as vanilla C), is a C++ world, full of abstract
and opaque class's, mazes of typedef's and all sorts of other C++
annoyances. It'd be interesting to see whether any of Apple's own apps
are actually untainted. It doesn't set a very good example, aside from
the practical problems.
