Why? Do you enjoy pain?
I'm continually surprised at how Mac users embrace platform dependent
code. I would have thought we would be the first to push for cross
platform and open programs. Is there any one else out there who's
thinking of making the switch (Cocoa -> QT) ??
I'm not thinking about it at all. I'd rather write the best
applications on the best platform using the best framework available in
the shortest possible time. That's a winning economic argument to me,
*and* it means I don't have to deal with crap like C++.
It's not about "embracing platform dependent code." It's about
embracing *quality*. We care about what we use, how we use it, what we
write, and how we write it. If we didn't, we'd all be working in
VB.NET on Windows.
