In his keynote this morning, Jobs claimed that the dual G5 beat Dell's
fastest in several tests. He had guys from Adobe, Wolfram and a couple
other companies back up the claim. Lots of impressive bargraphs to drive
home the point.
He talked about a bus at 500MHz but I don't know what parts of the system
ride on that bus. He also said that Apple's new bus controller ASIC makes
it work effeciently.
There were also some demos.
He is a good salesman but maybe it's true.
