Newbie: NSTableView & SQLite

I'm in the learning process of developing with PB and just toying with
a small app.
I just building a small app to display data from an SQLite database in
a table view.
I have the classes for SQLite and can display the data to the console.
Is it necessary to connect a NSTableView to a data source in IB or can
you manually
add the rows.
