So I notice in screenshots here and there that there are a few changes
to the UI. For one, Apple seems to have abandoned the venerable
NSTabView, and instead have a FinderViewMultiButtonThingInARoundedRect

it the new face on NSTabView? If it's new, is it available in Cocoa?

Looks like those awful things are going to be the tab replacement.
Now when you see a 'button row' you have to figure out if they're
"buttons" or "tab buttons". If you guess wrong hopefully it was just a
tab button else you'll be visiting "undo".
After you've figured it out once you *should* remember but you go ahead
and tell that to my mom. She can't even remember how to get pictures
off our camera (I pre-configured it so.. <broken record>just plug the
camera in, it does the rest!</broken record>).
I think you can tell that I'm anxious to get calls on this one. It
should be all kinds of fun trying to explain the difference between a
"button row" and "tab buttons"...
me: "You see how those buttons are on the line of that box?.."
caller: "What? right-mouse-button?"
me: "Ugh! No. When the 'button rows' are on a line they're no longer
'buttons' - they're tab buttons"
caller: "So I need to double-click?"
And then I pull out the screenshots of "what was"(Jag) compared to
"what is"(Pan), send an email and hope they don't call back.
Change is good.</rant>
