Look in your InfoPlist.strings file and check that you've changed the
name of the application in CFBundleName. The name of the application
in the application menu comes from there.

I am sure I must be missing something, but how do you change the name
of the application in the application menu?
I have set it to 'MyApp' in my MainMenu.nib file, but when I run my
app, the menu also includes the version number, as in 'MyApp 1.0'.
Early on I had set the name to 'MyApp 1.0', but then removed the
version number from the Attributes field in IB. However, the version
number remains.
OS 10.1.3, December 2001 dev tools with updates.
