flexible space in table view

  • Subject: flexible space in table view

Ok, this is what I want to do with my table:

If there are enough columns to fill the table or be bigger than the table, then they should be there naturally.

If there are less than enough columns, i.e. there's some extra table view left over, I would like there to be some flexible space to the right, almost like a table column without any information. I've seen this done before, and I don't think it's a column that's on the right though.

Does anyone know how to do this?

example:

[ col 1 ] [ col 2] [ col 3 ] [ flexible space that looks like a column]

Thanks in advance,

Francisco Tolmasky
