NSComboBox Question

I have a combo box in an NSToolbar, and I notice that it sends an action when I "tab out" of the control. Since I'm using this combo box in a toolbar, I don't construct it in Interface Builder. My question is, how can I get the equivalent of IB's "Send Action: Only On Enter" functionality?
