I am puzzled by the tone of some of comments. I have not been at Cocoa
development that long, but in the first few weeks I had found most of
the documentation resources (many thanks to the people on this list!)
and had also acquired the very nice Cocoa Browser, which is certainly
not code completion/insight, but is close enough for me. All the
classes are listed, and if I want to see the methods for any of them I
can see them quickly.
Just how fast are you all typing, anyway? Just how much is your
productivity accelerated by having the code completion toy? How much
time do you spend THINKING about what you are doing as opposed to
actually typing code? In my case, having all the foundation class
information under my fingertips would not make that much of a
difference. I still have to step back periodically and think about what
I am doing, and that often means perusing the class information using
the Cocoa Browser (which is a hell of a lot more convenient for that
purpose than code completion).
While I agree that code completion/code insight would be wonderful, I
would not like to see Apple make it a development priority. They do not
have the resources of Microsoft. (Thank God.....)

Discussion after watching Disney's "Lilo & Stitch":
DAD: "But why did the space aliens speak English, as opposed to French,
or Swahili? And why did the one alien speak English with an Eastern
European accent? I don't get it."
CATHERINE (age 7): "That's 'cause you don't have a good cartoon brain."
