Just how fast are you all typing, anyway? Just how much is your productivity accelerated by having the code completion toy? How much time do you spend THINKING about what you are doing as opposed to actually typing code? In my case, having all the foundation class information under my fingertips would not make that much of a difference. I still have to step back periodically and think about what I am doing, and that often means perusing the class information using the Cocoa Browser (which is a hell of a lot more convenient for that purpose than code completion).

I believe that the issue isn't a matter of typing speed, or anything quite like that.

It's more a matter of (at least in my case) of not wanting to stop and look up the exact wording, capitalization etc for a method name... if this can be done in a less intrusive manner than having to flip to a documentation view or class browser, then that's a win.
