Speaking as the author of one of the many, many sockets frameworks
available for Cocoa, maybe a sockets framework shootout is in order? Of
course I'm biased ;-) Joking aside, each of the available frameworks is
well suited for different applications. Since users (esp. newbies) have
so many choices, an article describing the pros and cons of each of the
various socket classes would probably be helpful. Possibly this could
be a Stepwise article, Mr. Anguish?
