Oh yeah! No kidding - we really need SOMETHING like this.
The folks at UniSoftware - VooDoo SCC developers - had this great
product which worked with CW - then along comes PB and, evidently, no
published/available API so a VooDoo plug-in could be ported to support
PB. What's up with THAT?
As far as I am concerned, CVS, without a simple GUI, is an opaque blob
and just another hurdle to be overcome. I am a firm believer in SCC
but CVS not only does not invite my participation, it's a chinese
puzzle-box that defies me to figure out how to use it.
Sorry if that sounds like I am some sort of command-line-luddite, but
there ARE other things to do with the day.
Hey - here's my mouth AND my money - I spent $100 to have VooDoo do the
heavy SCC-lifting for me (in the past) and have another $100 to not
have to dink with CVS - any takers?
How about we let the UniSoftware/VooDoo people in the game - give them
the API - and let's get on with it!
