The emails of Oscar Morales: a bug somewhere?

Hi there List and especially Oscar -

Is there something weird about my out-of-the-box-plus-auto-upgrades OSX 10.1.5 set-up? Or is there something weird about Mr. Morales's mailer? Or is their a strange bug in Mail.app? The last seems the least implausible. Anyway, whenever I make the (for me) mistake of trying to read one of his postings I get the beachball of death until I Apple-Option-Escape Mail. I would like to know if I am unique in this.

Hardly anybody (whether old hand or beginner) who posts to this list is uninteresting - that's what makes it such a good one. Ergo I want to read Oscar's messages.

Yours, somewhat confused,
Ian Spackman
