Background Color of NSScrollView

I made a CustomView from the IB palette a subview of NSScrollView. From what I can tell there is no method to change the background color, but I sure would like too. Any way to accomplish this?

Anyone ever notice it's a hell of a lot faster to read Cocoa documentation using the internet than the Apple Help Viewer?
