lingering icon problem

I've written a document based Cocoa app in Objective-C using
Project/Interface builder.
I created an icon for the app to replace the default icon.
It was a pretty horrible icon, so I created a new one.
On my computer I still see the old icon when I run the app.
Other machines I install the app see the new icon.
I've deleted the original icon file. I've double checked with PB & IB,
there is no reference to the old icon.
Something is caching icons. Does anybody knows what's going on here ?
