NEWBIE: Advice on Starting Out

Hi,

I'm wanting to get into Cocoa development properly. A year ago I bought and worked my way through the O'Reilly book 'Learning Cocoa' and I am going to go back over that, but I would also like to have other reference/training material and wonder what I should get. I am mainly interested in working with ODBC database sources and bitmap graphics from Photoshop etc to create nice database front ends. Are there specific books or web pages to look at?
